Celebrate Canada Day with The Barbs
June 27, 2007

All, we want to invite all members of the club to come and participate with our minor rugby teams in Canada Day 'friendly' touch games.

The club has a table and some field space this coming Sunday - July 1 in the town fields near the Aurora Leisure complex. The idea is that the sports that the town promotes will be on display as part of Canada Day festivities. The club has arranged that we can get a table to promote the club on ball diamond #3 (behind the leisure complex on Industrial north). We'll also have field space, and will be running some flag fun games for the different age groups we have. We're looking at the younger kids (u8, u10 & u12's) from 11:00 am - 1:15 pm and then U-14s and some older ages from 2:15pm - 4:00pm.

It's a great way to build awareness within the community for our sport and support the club.

Understandably long weekends, cottages and other commitments will mean that not everyone can participate, though we'd love to have you come out, enjoy the sunshine and have a game with us. It will be a chance for the kids and their parents to mingle with some of the senior men and women and get a bit of a run in.

We hope you can make it.
