Toronto Nomads RFC announce their inaugural indoor 7’s tournament to be held on Saturday March 24 at University of Toronto’s new Varsity Centre Dome field.

Teams participating are – Balmy Beach, Aurora Barbarians, Irish Canadian Rugby Club, Brampton Beavers and Toronto Nomads.

Games/Time schedule as per below –

• 19:30 NOMADS vs BRAMPTON
• 19:46 BARBS vs IRISH
• 20:02 BRAMPTON vs BEACH
• 20:18 NOMADS vs IRISH
• 20:34 BARBS vs BEACH
• 20:50 BRAMPTON vs IRISH
• 21:06 NOMADS vs BARBS
• 21:22 IRISH vs BEACH
• 21:38 BRAMPTON vs BARBS
• 21:54 NOMADS vs BEACH

After the round-robin, the teams will be ranked by wins/losses/points difference. The 1st & 2nd place team shall play a final of two 10-minute halves in the final match.

* Should two teams (2nd & 3rd) still be level, the first tie-breaker will be head-to-head results. Should that still see the teams drawn, the results against the lowest-ranked team shall be removed and the two teams' results re-calculated. Should the teams still be level, then the results against the 4th place team will be deducted to recalculate, Should the teams still be draw then, the winner will be decided by a coin toss.
