Our men's team is currently a member of the ORU Marshall Premiership. We annually
yield strong results on the field and have an extremely active and supported social
apsect off the field. We draw a player base from all parts of Ontario but specifically
the Aurora and greater York Region.
We are committed to excellence and as a result, have a diverse and competitive
pool of players. Our primary goals are to give our player base the ability to
play rugby on the highest level and to promote our sport positively in the community.
We welcome any potential member to feel free to come to one of our training
sessions or to join us in any of our numerous social events. We have various teams
available for different rugby skills and ages and provide a safe and informed
atmosphere for learning the game.
To the Barbarian Men's Squad
This is a letter to inform everyone about our "FINES".
$5.00 FINES
- showing up late to games (men must be at pitch by the following: 3rd's by
11:00am, 2nd's by
12:30pm and 1st's by 2:00pm).
- dirty game day uniforms
- wearing game socks to practice
- wearing game shorts to practice
- leaving items behind at the pitch
- talking during speeches (like the damn ref at the captain's dinner).
- not warming up with the team
- no show on Saturdays
$2.00 FINES
- getting Buffaloed (this ones for you Rez).
- no socks with sandals (the fashion police will be on your butt about this
one).
- wearing game gear to bar
- wearing practice gear to bar (dirty smelly rugby gear will not be permitted
in the bars).
- Messing up a rugby song
NOTES
For those of you who cannot pay "FINES" (ie. students or those who
are short of cash) will have to pay their "FINES" in a very uncomfortable
way! And it will hurt......
- "FINES" must be paid within a week of being fined. If not interest
will be added.
- All monies collected will go toward an end of the year BASH with free booze,
food and STRIPPERS (that's if we collect enough money ha! ha!).
- no pay = no party
- If anyone has any problems or concerns please feel free to contact me and
i'll "FINE" your butt!
- If you have any "FINES" that you would like to be added, suggestions
are welcome!
